Rural Medical Service Society has its origin in Hulkoti, a small village that has been the birth place of the visionary late Shri.K.H.Patil & has emerged from being the fulcrum of co-operative movement, a crucible of novel experiments ensuring primacy for the farmers, ruralites & deprived section of the society and to provide quality education, health facilities. Institutions related to Agri inputs & value addition to Agri outputs.
Late Shri K.H.Patil was particularly concerned about lack of facilities for good quality health care in this part. This led to establishment of the Rural Medical Service Society. This relentless persuite has continued since then to provide quality healthcare at affordable cost & free to deserving poor. Now the Hospital bed strength is increased to 100 beds. The Hospital doctors have done thousands of free cataract surgeries, actively participated in health awareness campaigns, free health checkup of villages & school children.
